"That storyline changed," he told me. "Originally, Orson was going to be the really bad guy. Eva Longoria to star as a Bad Ghost...

Los Angeles, CA (CNS) - Eva Longoria is filming a movie over her dead body. The Desperate Housewives actress' next role will be a feisty ghost in a new film entitled "Over Her Dead Body."

The 32-year-old actress will appear on the big screen February 1 as a spirit who would do everything to stop the female love-interest role (played by newcomer Lake Bell) from falling in love with her former fiancé (played by Paul Rudd).

The bad girl role is precisely what drew her to the film. "I find more fun in bad girls. The good girls are always so boring," the wife of NBA star Tony Parker says.

This is not the first bad girl for the petite star. She currently stars as self-absorbed trophy wife Gabrielle Solis on 'Desperate Housewives.'

And her movie role wouldn't be far flung from happening as she admits that she would haunt Parker if she died.

"Oh, I would totally haunt Tony if I passed away. I would lie next to him and stare at him!" Longoria says.

January 6 — that's when it will be confirmed who died in the tornado that struck Desperate Housewives' Wisteria Lane in the Dec. 2 episode. It also could be the last original episode fans see this season if the WGA strike isn't resolved soon. Luckily, it's a good one. "It's even better than the last," says a source. "It's super-gripping, it addresses so many storylines and it answers so many questions that viewers have been asking all season."

So, to be blunt, who's toast? Viewers will learn (spoiler alert) that Gaby's husband, Victor, was indeed killed by the tornado (or, more specifically, a picket through the chest). Also done-for is Sylvia, the patient who was stalking Nathan Fillion's doc. The fate of Carlos, who was left for dead on the floor of his house will be confirmed, and Housewives fans will also discover who survived the collapse of Mrs. McCluskey's home, in which Tom and Ida were taking cover. Matt Roush: A little bit of everything, I think. That awesome final tableau of Wisteria Lane in ruins was enough to make anyone cry. But the fact that as she and Mrs. McCluskey emerged to survey the damage, all she could see of her family's shelter was rubble no doubt prompted that shriek of anguish (which ABC promoted endlessly before the episode ever aired). I wouldn't fret for Lynette. No matter how aggravating her family can be, the show isn't going to kill them off.

Don't you love it when that happens?

Well, I've received so many questions in the past three days about Desperate Housewives' insane tornado episode that aired on Sunday, I've done a little digging to get some scoop for ya.

Not only was it hands down the best DH episode of the season (I think I'm back in), but it left us all screaming at our televisions: Whose house is gone?! Who is dead?! Let me try and answer...

The episode ended with Lynette (Felicity Huffman) and Mrs. McCluskey, who had been hiding in a neighbor's house during the storm, walking outside to see a destroyed house and a wide shot of Wisteria Lane completely in shambles. (Here's hoping these folks have good insurance like Nancy Botwin over on Weeds!)

There was much debate as to whether the leveled house was the Scavos' (meaning Lynette's husband, Tom, and the kiddies might be in jeopardy), or Mrs. McCluskey's, where an elderly neighbor, Ida, was hiding out in the basement.

Bottom line: ABC wants to keep you guessing. Sources tell me Marc Cherry & Co. have already shot the next episode, but they are holding it until after the strike ends to keep fans guessing and make sure they return to the show when it's back on the airwaves.

In the meantime—spoiler alert!—here's what I can tell you after talking to reliable insiders close to Wisteria Line: Three people die in the tornado.

Now, it would seem two of those deaths (Sylvia and Victor) were already shown on the last episode, so that would leave only one more death. Which should mean—phew!—Tom and the kids should be safe and the house we saw was not the Scavos'. (In fact, I'd put good money on the kids and Tom returning!)

But the question remains, who will be the third death? Is it Ida? Someone bigger? Someone smaller (if it's just the cat, I'll scream)...Got guesses? Post 'em below!

Sadly, we have plenty of time to figure this one out...How about an end to that writers' strike now, please?!

Ausiello: Regrettably, the Scavo's demon spawn survive the twister. I don't get Marc Cherry sometimes. He had a golden opportunity to kill four really annoying birds with one big shiny stone and he didn't take it. Maybe he's waiting to unload them in the May sweeps tsunami.

Question: Did Lynette's husband die in the tornado? The promos said "a friend and a husband" would die. Is it Tom? Who is the friend? I'm so confused. When are new episodes coming back? — Amy
Ausiello: Actually, it's episode, not episodes. The conclusion to Sunday's two-parter is the only remaining episode in the can. And my guess is ABC is holding onto it as long as possible.

Wisteria Lane has gone dark: Production on Desperate Housewives has come to a strike-induced halt at 10 episodes (which only makes sense - creator/showrunner Marc Cherry is on the WGA's negotiating committee, after all). But in true Housewives fashion, the girls will go out with a bang - or, more accurately, a storm. A two-episode tornado will hit the suburban enclave and end in a cliffhanger with plenty of Wisterian drama, says Dana Delany, who plays icy new homeowners association prez Katherine Mayfair. I'm hearing that someone on Wisteria Lane is headed for a longish stint in rehab.

After the tornado hits Wisteria Lane, Mike finds himself once again in a hospital bed but this time, his injuries are quite serious (not deadly). Edie will be in need of a new house. Later, she and Gaby work together to spread another woman's ashes. Tom and Lynette come face to face with Annabel Foster but, as expected, there is a twist to this. Bree tries to hook a contractor up with Andrew in the hope the contractor will do emergency repairs on her house.

Susan drops by at Orson's dentist office to inquire about pills he prescribed for Mike. She orders a mother and her son to stay in the room in order to have an objective option. Orson claims he prescribed the pills because Mike was having problems with a shoulder. Susan is angry because Mike used to be an addict and is afraid he will fall back in that type of life. Mike gets agitated when he brings Susan to the ER after she fell and the orderly says it'll be hours before she can be checked because she's not an urgent case. As the hours pass, Mike gets extremely agitated and angry and even gets in a fight with the orderly. To Mike's extreme displeasure, he gets cuffed to a chair until Susan is ready to go home.

Walter - Walter is a contractor . It seems that Bree and Orson's house was severely damaged in the upcoming storm, since from the set used they are staying at Susan's. Bree has found out that not only is Walter a talented contractor, he is also gay, and she and Orson use this to their advantage in trying to get him to do some quick repairs on their house. Walter arrives and they "accidentally" told him to come at dinner time and Bree "accidentally" overcooked. They basically try to schmooze the guy with scallops wrapped in pancetta, 12 year-old Scotch, and "out and proud" Andrew. This scene is priceless.

Erica (Carson)- Mona's niece. Mona is a casualty of the storm, and Gabrielle and Edie have helped Erica organize her aunt's belongings. She seems to be the sweet grieving niece until she notices that her pearl necklace is missing, since it was the only thing of value the lady owned. Edie says that Mona gave it to her, and Erica then asks if that was done IN WRITING? Edie quickly goes into her house to get the necklace. Erica then asks if there is a good place to eat, and Gabrielle directs Erica to a diner near Grenville Stadium, where Mona requested her ashes be scattered. Erica balks, saying she had no intentions of going there and was just going to bring Mona's ashes to Omaha with her. Gabrielle reminds Erica that it was her aunt's final request, and Erica tells her that Mona was crazy and she's lucky that she came back there to get the ashes. She also leaves Mona's boxes of belongings, calling them worthless and tells Gabrielle that she can just give them away. (Note: There are sides for another character named Carson, but his sides are the same as these with Carson having Erica's lines. Now, either Carson is a different character entirely or Mona has two bloodsucking relatives).

Diane - Widow of Ted, who is another casualty of the storm. Diane tells Edie at the funeral that Ted was rushing home before the storm hit in earnest when his car hit some downed power lines causing it to burst into flames. Edie is "comforting" the widow, but she is more interested in the location of Ted's files which she finds out are in the garage. Edie sneaks there.

Someone (Sylvia?) hits Tom on the head as he closes the restaurant. A doctor tells Lynette that Tom suffered a concussion and hypothermia and that it is possible he suffers from short-term memory loss. A detective drops by Edie's house to ask her questions about Carlos' whereabouts since they found his boat but not him. Edie says that she last saw him two nights ago when she announced that she was breaking up. The detective thinks it could be a set up since there are no prints on the boat but they did find a green cashmere scraf... According to our sources, Julie is the one dating the Tommy-Lee type guy and not Edie. The guy is named Will and, as expected, Susan will not be happy to see her daughter date this type of guy.

Note: For the record I watch DH most of the time but not all of it, so the names are unfamiliar to me. If these are one of those change the names to fool them sides I am going to bet that Randy is Orson and Karen is Bree. First of all, Karen speaks like Bree in the dialogue. Second, Randy refers to Lucy and Lucy and never once as "my daughter". It could be Susan and Mike, BUT Susan is pregnant and wouldn't go physically throwing a young man around.

Barrett is seemingly a clean-cut young medical student, but in reality he is Randy's drug dealer. Randy walks in to the house to find Barrett at Karen's kitchen table chatting with her. Karen informs Randy that she paid Barrett for the job that he did for Randy (she does not know that he owed Randy for drugs) and that Barrett is about to take Lucy on a coffee date. While Karen goes to check on Lucy, Randy confronts Barrett and tells him he will not let him near Karen or Lucy. When Barrett taunts him, since to do that he would have to reveal his secret, Randy pushes him up against the wall. Karen comes down, horrified at Randy's actions saying that there's no excuse for physical violence. Randy decides its better to protect Lucy than himself, and tells Karen who Barrett truly is. For someone who was against physical violence, Karen is no slouch herself and physically pushes Barrett around and out the door. As Lucy comes down the stairs completely confused, Barrett tells Lucy that her family is pyscho. Karen informs him that if he wants to see psycho, come back.

Sylvia - A woman who knows Tom. They are meeting at the restaurant, and Tom did not tell Lynette about the meeting. It seems that Tom kissed Sylvia, and while Sylvia thought it meant something Tom explains to her that he kissed back to make her feel better since she was so depressed at the time. Sylvia balks at the idea that it was pity, and leaves.

Det. Metzer and Det Coppedge - He comes to Edie's house to question her about Carlos' disappearance. Edie tells them that Carlos disappeared two days ago, and that she told him that she was leaving and he was depressed about it. It seems that they found his abandoned boat, but oddly enough no fingerprints so Carlos had to be on that boat with someone. They also found a high-quality cashmere scarf on the boat. (Note - while there are two sets of sides, the dialogue is EXACTLY the same on both. Normally when they do this they will have two detectives in this scene sharing the dialogue, OR they do not want to reveal anything huge in the sides so they just let the actors read from the less spoilerish ones)

Lucy doesn't want her because her boyfriend just moved in with her and she hasn't told him her real age yet! Lydia seems to have personnal issues (she is seeing a therapist) that prevent her from taking their mother in. Lucy thinks that Lydia's issues surfaced because she took care of Stella for two years. Question: I'm very disappointed! You didn't say anything about Desperate Housewives in last week's AA. — Jose Carlos

Ausiello: I was waiting till I had something to say, and now I do: I've seen the season premiere and, save for the lame resolution of the Edie cliff-hanger, the episode is actually pretty good. All of the actors seem on top of their game, including Dana Delany and Nathan Fillion who are fantastic as the sorta-new couple on the block. On the spoiler front, I can tell you that this season's big mystery centers on what happened to Delany's daughter (Lyndsy Fonseca) during their early days on Wisteria Lane. There's also a big baby twist, a funny sight gag involving a barbecue fork that underrated funny lady Marcia Cross just nails, and a housewife's death is averted by none other than Mrs. McClusky.

Question: Any hint on which guy is going to die on Desperate Housewives?— K.K.

Viewers may take it for granted that stars look glamorous and beautiful on TV, but when someone can stand out in a room full of other glamorous stars, that is real beauty. Teri Hatcher did just that, drawing all eyes away from a party filled with ABC's hottest talent.

Always a surprise when the star of a returning hit does the annual press rounds, Hatcher showed up toward the end of a party in a red dress, turning her body into a crimson cylinder of shapely curves. She had hoped to just pop in and say hi to her Desperate Housewives boss Marc Cherry, but Hollywood.com wasn't about to let her get away without dishing some dirty on DH's fourth season.

Here's what we already knew: With Susan (Hatcher) and Mike (James Denton) finally married, their relationship enters a new phase. New neighbors will cause even more mystery and trouble. Hatcher's already shared scenes with newbies Dana Delany and Nathan Fillion, among all the other residents of Wisteria Lane. Okay, Teri…spill the secrets!

Hollywood.com: What can you tell us about DH's Season Four?

Teri Hatcher: Here's what I can say. I have been working 12 days in a row. I was filming early this morning until 8:30. I rushed over here really to support Marc. I knew he was here and some of the new cast because I'm so excited about this year. The first two scripts, there's just nothing more fun than when that writing is so great and everyone's character has such a terrific storyline. We're just having such a good time. Dana Delany is a great addition to the show and Nathan is amazing.

HW: How are Mike and Susan functioning as a married couple?

TH: Mike and Susan are really having a romantic…I can't tell you what happens. You'll find it out in the first episode but it's romantic and neurotic and surprising. I feel like Mike and Susan haven't really gotten to spend a lot of time together since the first season, so this is a time at least for those two characters where they are together and they're getting to explore the emotions of being together. So they're not apart. That's not happening.

HW: Is there room for more people on Wisteria Lane?

TH: Apparently there is. They are really fitting in just great.

HW: Does that make it easier for you, spreading out the work more?

TH: No, I've been working more than I have ever worked. It's not like it takes anything away from that but I think what Marc is aware of, and I think rightfully so, is just keeping a freshness to the show. I think [he does that] by bringing these characters on when they work, and I these characters work. They're great. They just fit right in. I think it just brings a freshness on that they need.

HW: Does that energize you, to keep things in flux after three years?

TH: It's just when the writing is great, there's just no better job. We were just saying tonight that it kind of doesn't matter how many hours you work when you're so invigorated by the freshness of the writing and the actors that you're working with. It's just like you can't believe you get paid to do it and it feels like that so far this year.

HW: How does Dana Delany's character come in?

TH: She used to live in the neighborhood and that was when Susan and Mary Alice were there, so we were the characters that knew her and were good friends and now she's back. There's something different about her and something odd going on and we're all trying to figure that out. I have to say, it can be a difficult tone to slip into that drama/comedy thing that Desperate Housewives tries to ride. She just absolutely fits right in. It's so exciting. She's got the drama and the comedy and the edge. She is just brilliant.

HW: Are you involved in the potential mystery this year?

TH: Yeah, but the way Marc works with that, we only know it as it goes along so I don't really know very much about what that is about.

HW: Nathan Fillion plays a gynecologist, so what was your first scene with him?

TH: It was a great scene. Often you'll hear actors saying that the oddity of you might meet someone, ""Hi, nice to meet you"" and then the next thing you know you're doing a kissing scene. Ours was, ""Hi, nice to meet you – now my feet are going to be on the stirrups and you need to pretend like you're doing some sort of exam nobody wants to talk about."" That's pretty welcoming. "Hey, welcome to Desperate Housewives." It was funny. Those were the kind of jokes that were going on.

HW: Were you wearing boxers underneath?

TH: I wore plenty to be a lady.

HW: It must be nice to be able to talk about the new costars, since it's not a secret.

TH: It truly is. I can't tell you how many times I've walked down the red carpet and people have said, ""So how do you feel about so and so being on the show next year?"" It's like, ""So and so's on the show next year?"" This time I actually knew about Dana and I literally, I've been working 12 days in a row, 14 hours a day. I just was the last person to finish filming and I had to come over here because I can't tell you how excited I am about this season.

HW: You're very high on the new episodes, so do you feel this season is back on track where others might have faltered?

TH: You know what? I don't look at life that way. I don't look at life that way, I don't look at TV shows [that way], nothing. To me, each day is an opportunity to do something new, to make a different choice, have a different energy. So each episode, whether it's first season, second season, third season, is a new opportunity to have a new kind of energy. I don't feel like the fourth is less [or] more, [just] different. I feel like it has its own individual taste and [that's] what I'm most excited about. I don't know if that's because of Marc's writing, that he's really nailed down some very specific storylines for all the women on the show that are very enticing and creative, or if it's because of the new people that are joining our cast or a combination of all that. But there seems to be just incredible camaraderie [and] energy to the whole thing that feels like I don't remember it feeling for a while. So that's great.

HW: This season has a lot of new shows featuring women over 40 in the leads. Do you feel Desperate Housewives was instrumental in propelling that trend?

TH: Well, if it was, I would say the credit goes to Marc but I have said before that I don't believe they intended to cast a bunch of women over 40. I think we didn't look like were over 40 and then after we were cast, we realized that and then that happened. I don't think they said, ""Hey, let's hire women that are 40."" I wasn't actually over 40 when I got the job but now I am.

HW: Did you get a chance to travel on your hiatus?

TH: I did. My daughter and I went to cooking school in Italy then we went to Eva [Longoria]'s wedding and then it was over and we were back to work.

HW: You're known for all the goodies you cook and bake for your castmembers. Does your daughter cook for you yet?

TH: She cooks, yeah. She's in a cooking camp here in Los Angeles. She loves to cook. Cooking and horses. She brought me to the set today a rolled chicken enchilada thing that she made. She brought me some home made trail mix. She's very into it.

HW: What are you watching on TV?

TH: So You Think You Can Dance. I love that show. I don't love it because of the competition. I love it because I used to live in Manhattan and my daughter grew up in Manhattan. I used to take her to the ballet from the time she was three. She was seeing the New York City Ballet and if I could sit in a theater and watch dancers every night, that would be my idea of a good time. Live, professional, brilliant dancers are just amazing to me. So I'm not really into the ""Who gets eliminated"" part. I just like to watch the dancing.
